Research Dossier — 1974 Morgan 4/4 1.6L

Overview. Hand-built British roadster on a steel ladder chassis with ash wood body framing. The 4/4 (“four wheels/four cylinders”) retained pre-war style—separate wings, exposed bonnet louvres and upright slatted grille—paired with a lively Ford Kent 1.6L four and 4-speed manual.

Signature cues. Cycle or clamshell wings, round headlamps with optional driving/fog lamps, slim bumpers, bonnet leather straps (often added), wire wheels with knock-offs, rear luggage rack carrying a spare, aero screens or full framed windscreen, low-cut doors, and side screens when the hood is raised.

Cabin. Leather buckets, wood-veneer fascia with Smiths-style gauges, toggle switches and a compact tunnel; some cars fitted radios/heaters.

Use the menus to match your target car (colour, wings, lamps, wheels, rack/spare, screen/top, interior trim/veneer and driveline). Click Generate to fill the four outputs. Prompts emphasise robust, legal LEGO techniques using widely available parts.
