1971 Porsche 908/3 — key build cues (useful for LEGO translation):

  • Ultra-low open cockpit with a small windscreen lip, single-seat tub, and exposed cockpit rim. LEGO focus: crisp rim line + one-seat packaging.
  • Long, flat nose with subtle fender rises and a central roundel area. LEGO focus: tile-smooth nose, one-plate seam discipline.
  • Wide rear deck with engine cover area and tail taper. LEGO focus: Technic/plate spine under a thin shell.
  • Prototype proportions: longer than it is tall; very low roofline (no roof), wide stance. LEGO focus: keep height down—avoid stacking bricks unnecessarily.
  • Martini-era graphics: white body + dark/navy & red sweep bands, plus a large roundel number. LEGO focus: stripes via tiles/slopes; decals optional.

True LEGO Geometry & LEGO-Legal Rule Set (must follow):

  • Stud grid + standard heights (1 brick = 3 plates). Half-stud offsets only via official elements (jumpers/brackets/headlight bricks, etc.).
  • No stressed geometry: no bending/forcing/torquing. No jam-fit friction hacks. All assemblies stable at rest.
  • BrickLink Studio validation: zero intersections, zero floating, all connections valid. Moving features must have clearance (no scraping/preload).
  • Technic pins/axles align straight—never “pull beams into position.”
